In celebration of my twenty-fifth novel release ("A Daughter of Nyx") of the "Haunted Series," I decided I would put together the first three novels of the series for your convenience.
The "Haunted Series" started off with a conversation I had during a walk with my son. I was discussing my frustration with the reception my work was getting. He said, "Write something different," and so I did.
"The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow" starts off the journey of Mia Cooper, a sensitive, and social pariah of Big Bear Lake, who is still trying to live down her reputation as the girl who screams in graveyards, and an amateur group of ghost hunters from the Paranormal Entity Exposure Partners (PEEPs). Together, they quickly find themselves in over their heads dealing with a horror that is rising in the hollow. Fortunately for Mia, there is Stephen Murphy, an axe-wielding ghost who has her back in a fight and a place in her heart.
As you read through these first three novels, I think you will find that these aren't typical haunted house books. These novels have a plethora of new and reimagined paranormal entities. The core group, PEEPs, Mia, and Murphy are dedicated to helping the victims of these entities, and the lost themselves, no matter who and what they are. I use humor and a lot of dialogue to move my stories. My goal isn't to weigh you down with description but take you on a wild ride.
Each novel has one or more finished stories contained within, all dealing with a similar theme. All novels and novellas follow Mia's physical and emotional evolution.
The series doesn't end with novel twenty-five. I have promised readers to continue to write the Haunted Series as long as I can find engaging and humorous page-turning stories about Mia, Murphy, and PEEPs.

"Ghostly Attachments" Book 2:
It isn't the chair rocking by itself that sends the young family fleeing in the middle of the night. It's when it stops rocking and all hell breaks loose. This family needs help. Enter PEEPs (Paranormal Entity Exposure Partners) armed with the latest hi-tech gear and the ghost communication abilities of Mia Cooper. But this isn't a normal case. Some of the ghosts aren't playing fair. Some of them are armed.
Mia's attention is divided between this case and her friend Sabine, who has gone missing during an out of body walkabout. "Sand Trap" Book 3:
Not all sand traps occur on the links. Some may be found on a popular beach or lonely stretch of highway.
A sensitive and two ghost hunters walk into a bar. The barman is silent and the barflies long dead. Sounds like the start of a joke, but it's not. An active haunt in a derelict biker bar on Route 66 is a dream come true for the PEEPs team until it turns violent. An SOS is sent to Mia Cooper who hits the open road with her ghostly pal Murphy riding shotgun. Together they try to enter the haunted building only to be repelled by the building itself. They can't get in, and the ghosts can get out.
Courtney Fairchild wanted a rich husband and wasn't going to let a little thing like death stand in her way. Hit by lightning as she walked along an exclusive Floridian beach, her soul was fused together with the sand, creating a beautiful specimen of fulgurite, which finds a home at the Chicago Field Museum. Released into the museum, Courtney roams from display to display looking for a way out of her glass prison.
Join Mia and the PEEPs team on an adventure from the cultural confines of Chicago's Field Museum down Route 66 to Lucky's Bar where evil is always on tap.
