This is a magnificent first novel from the well-known interior decorator and singer, HONEY MAY HARNESS.
Harness was born in Greece of Anglo-German parents. Renata, her mother, had not realised she was pregnant; she believed she was suffering from indigestion. She gave birth to Honey, her only daughter, in a taverna on the island of Hydra
After an unruly childhood, Harness began composing her own songs and working part-time in a night shelter for old male down-and-outs in Bristol. 'There I learnt a great deal of masculine psychology,' she laughs.
Later her designs for the interiors of the Martin Francis Gallery in Birmingham won her the coveted Emily Gale-Sampson Award for daring in design. Her pop group, the Hydrafones, has met with success in England and Finland. Her song 'You Got Me Eatin Regular' sailed to number two in the charts.
Honey May Harness is twenty-nine and unmarried. She is currently blonde. Her novel is a ribald romp through various sexual encounters, while nevertheless containing a serious theme concerning a forged ikon and the grandmother of Jesus Christ. Ms Harness writers under the name of Brian Aldiss.
Genre: Science Fiction
