Who needs love when getting justice sounds so much sweeter…?

Freedom is all I’ve dreamed about for the last fifteen years.
When I see my chance to escape captivity, I have to take the risk. And for once, luck is on my side.
However, I have no doubt my captors are looking for me.
When I get approached by an eccentric group of misfits called MEOW Squad (don’t even ask) offering to keep me safe and help me get justice, I don’t have much choice but to accept.

But damn if Griffin isn’t starting to break through my strongest defenses though, with his puppy-dog eyes, sunshiny personality, and dog-like (pun intended) devotion to me.

And that’s proven the moment I meet Shae because he’s my fated mate.
