Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s The Masque of the Red Death
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I moved to L.A. to become a celebrity stylist and after years of working my ass off, I was still just an assistant. I didn’t have the money, the look, or the connections to branch out on my own and do my own thing.
And then the world shut down.
Money was tight, creativity was stifled, and my heart was heavy. Conditions that only strengthened my desire to work for myself.
So, when the world opened back up and an opportunity arose, I took full advantage.
As a stylist, it only takes the right outfit on the right client at the right event to really propel your career. That was the only reason I was there.
