A man who detested Christmas and a bride who loved telling stories of joy and hope. It was hardly a match made in heaven...
Tilly was orphaned and left to care for her two younger siblings. At night she would tell them magical stories to inspire them. She had to make a go of creating a good life for herself to ensure that little Robert and Grace had a future as close to the one their parents would have given them.
Edward did not want a bride. He was still mourning the death of his beloved wife on Christmas day the year before, taken after birthing their twin boys. Boys Edward could not bear to look upon. Boys he had abandoned to the care of his stalwart employees, Sarah and Smithy. With Edward's permission, Sarah corresponds with the would-be mail-order bride on his behalf, eventually inviting her to marry the rancher and care for his twins. However, to do so, she had to leave her siblings behind.
How will Tilly survive Christmas without her beloved brother and sister? Can Edward get over his grief sufficiently to allow his baby boys a chance to celebrate Christmas with the only parent they have in the world? Could Tilly end up telling her own magical story of Christmastime love?
