The pink stripes in Esri Allbrittens hair are the first hint that shes a bit of a character. After her published paranormal romances did so-so, Esri Allbritten decided to switch to the genre she read most but was most intimidated to write -- mystery. The result was Chihuahua of the Baskervilles, first in her Tripping Magazine mystery series, published in hardcover by St. Martin's/Minotaur Books. Esri believes that, in addition to writing well, a high-concept premise and a lot of marketing hooks are the best tools for selling your work to a publisher. Esri lives in Boulder, Colorado, (also home to her sleuths). She has a folk-singing alter ego named Jenny Blossom.
