The Buckle's Curse

Jack Winder ventures to the country of Bornan to find and eliminate a curse that has ruined the entire country. The Bornan wizard that accompanies him has a vested interest in Jack's latest errand and warns him that the buckle has been lost for two thousand years and won't be easy to find. Along the way, they have to survive hostile nomads, hostile wizards, and hostile lands to find the buckle and destroy it to eliminate the curse.
