The Polished Penny

When Penny Ephram's first day at the Dorkansee Healing Institute ends badly, she refuses to quit. Penny develops a passion to learn how to be a proper lady and a better swordswoman. Her relationship with Jack Winder puts Penny in peril from a suspected Black Finger student. Penny is abducted just as Jack Winder completes his task in the country of Masukai prompting him to rush northward to rescue Penny. To save Penny, he must navigate past an angry god, an angry goddess, and the murderous Black Finger Society of Lajia.
