This illness is my demon and this book is my therapy. I have symptoms like these and I want to help you see what it's like to feel like me.

Seventeen-year-old Jane Aacker has depression. After a failed suicide attempt she is introduced to Dr. Theresa Carson, who encourages her to join a new therapy group for people with mental illnesses.

But it's a different kind of therapy. Fifteen mental disorders expressed in fifteen main characters, all brought together in therapy interrupted by poetry, plays, pictures, records, notes, clues, inner thoughts, and real-world psychology.
