Spells

(1985)
(The fourth book in the Isaac Asimov's Magical Worlds of Fantasy series)
An anthology of stories edited by

Isaac Asimov edited this 4th volume in a series of short stories. This time out he has selected stories from Stephen King (I Know What You Need), Ray Bradbury (Invisible Boy), Fritz Leiber (The Snow Woman(, Arthur Conan Doyle ( Lot No. 249), Jack Vance (The Miracle Workers), Robert Arthur (Satan & Sam Shay and more for a total of 12 stories. Asimov writes the Introduction. Memorable, enteratining stories of spells cast and spells broken, of distant realms and of ages where knights and heroes battle unforseen evil forces, and of our current modern world where even a girl's school may prove to be the entryway into other worlds. Well-worth redaing.
