When I was young, my teachers always talked about my magic like it was a gift. Now that I've surpassed them all, Mother doesn't talk of gifts - she talks of duty. But that's just the Dalshak way.

The Broken Academy is almost a pointless exercise for me.
There's nothing I'll learn in these halls that hasn't been passed down to me already in family tradition.
