(2022)
A novel by

In a pretty village in the Surrey countryside, life is good for neighbours Hope Clements and Josie Bell.
Both are happily married and working hard on their hopes and dreams for the future.
Hope has prepared meticulously for months and is ready to set off for her dream holiday –
six weeks at a well-being retreat in Bali.
But something happens the night before departure which threatens not only her long-awaited holiday but everything she’s worked for in life.
Josie is on hand to provide comfort and support. But what starts out as a seemingly harmless favour soon forces her to reassess her own life, threatening to destroy her own happiness in the process.
It seems to Hope that every way she turns, she is met with lies and deceit, even from her daughter who is supposedly away studying at university. How will she manage to maintain the roles of wife and mother and carer in the face of such dishonesty?
And will she ever find the courage to challenge those in question?
