The Fallen Fruit (2024)
Shawntelle Madison
"What an amazing debut novel! The Fallen Fruit follows members of the Bridge family as they cope with a curse that hits every generation. I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down! I am in awe of the amount of research Shawntelle Madison put into The Fallen Fruit. She covers several historical periods in this one story. I felt like I was immersed in each distinct setting as I read. All I can say is: More please!"

The American Queen (2024)
Vanessa Miller
"Vanessa Miller's page-turner The American Queen takes readers on a winding journey through the horrors and triumphs of the post--Civil War / Reconstruction era to show how a broken formerly enslaved woman transforms into an actual queen over her people. Louella Bobo Montgomery emerges from a Mississippi plantation with a vision of a 'happy land' where her people will live together in peace and with dignity. Turning that vision into a reality, however, tests the very foundations of her faith. The American Queen is a moving, heartwarming story that reminds us that all things are possible with faith, hope, love, and forgiveness."

All You Have to Do Is Call (2023)
Kerri Maher
"A gripping novel that illustrates how ordinary people like mothers, housewives, and students can - and have - put their necks on the line for the greater good. This novel comes at the right time to remind us of the power we have on the individual level to make change, sometimes with our own bare hands."
