Stithulf Vrykolakas Upiór, the Head of Oxford’s Most Ancient Order of the Undead, is desperate to feed on his Queen.
His Queen on the other hand, shunned and shamed during their last tryst, wants to make him suffer. She’s gone to ground, literally, burrowing under the ruins of the Nunnery at Godstow in order to starve him out.
But Stithulf’s drawn to her like iron filings to a magnet, routing her from her underground lair and taunting her back into the fray.

In spite of their love-hate, push-me pull you relationship they’re joined in one desire: both of them want the humans, who’ve hunted them into the shadows, to eat dirt and die. (Unless they’re willing, consenting snack material. Then they can stay.)
Their passion rages as they slay, each blood-drenched clash taking them closer and closer to the most important battle of all: the one that mends or rends their hearts—and all parts south—for an eternity.
Come for the coming, stay for the slay.
