Britannia - 44AD

In the wake Romes victories at the rivers Medway and Tamesis, Caratacus, the war leader who nearly broke the back of the Roman invasion, has fled west into the untamed mountains where Rome's legions dare not follow. There, among the fierce Silures tribe, he rebuilds his forces and plots his revenge.

With the legions stretched thin across newly conquered territories, Claudius turns once again to the Occultum with a mission as simple as it is impossible. Find and assassinate Caratacus.

For Seneca and his team, the hunt leads them deep into the forbidding mountains of western Britannia. But as they close in on their target, they discover that Cartimandua, the calculating Queen of the Brigantes, harbours a secret that complicates their mission. A secret that could either secure her allegiance to Rome or force her into an alliance with the most dangerous tribe in the whole of Britannia.

Deep in Silures territory, outnumbered and far from any hope of reinforcement, Seneca and his men must navigate a deadly maze of tribal loyalties and ancient vendettas. Their mission grows more complex when they discover that Caratacus is not merely hiding—he is actively building a coalition of tribes that could undo all of Rome's hard-won gains.

In a land where ancient forests hide deadly secrets and mountain mists conceal enemies beyond counting, the Occultum will need every skill, every weapon, and every ounce of courage to complete their deadliest mission yet.

Some enemies can't be conquered. They must be eliminated.
