Staff Sergeant Arik Chaser is a military training instructor for the United States Air Force. He is admired by his teammates and crushed on by his trainees. He had his heart broken before and was in no rush to fall in love again. He thought he had his life under control that was until he laid eyes on twenty-one year old trainee, Jenna Hayes.

Jenna Hayes joined the military to get away from a hurtful past, but seemed to run right back into her past the day she stepped foot on Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, Texas.
