It’s difficult for Siena Moretti to believe in love, especially after having her heart ripped out of her chest. Swearing off men is the only solution to her problems. Broken and unemployed, she leaves her beloved San Francisco for a reprieve at her family’s winery where things will be simple, easy, and quiet. There’s just one problem: the peaceful solitude she craves is interrupted when Michael Blaire, the developer from Hell, comes to town.

Michael Blaire is furious when he is forced to go to the small town of Monarch. But in order to make his father happy, he has to find a way to acquire Moretti Vineyards and build the new hotel. He doesn’t have time for any complications. Definitely no time for lusting after a woman. That is, until he meets Siena. Trying to fight his desire for the fiery-tempered hazel-eyed vixen next door, Michael’s job becomes more difficult than originally anticipated.

When Siena finds out about Michael’s plan to purchase Moretti Vineyards, she vows to stop him by any means necessary. He refuses to give in to her demands, but Siena won’t let anyone, especially a
Blaire, destroy her home without a fight. This hard-headed, uncompromising duo clash from day one, both unwilling to give up what they want or believe in. Stubborn and resistant to change, they find their lives entwined . . . in more ways than one.
