An auction gala turns deadly in the fifth Notchey Creek mystery.

It is summertime in Notchey Creek, Tennessee, and whiskey distiller Harley Henrickson is spending her days at Smoky Mountain Spirits, concocting refreshing cocktails for customers, until a turn of events disrupts her routine.
Early one morning, the widow of famous country singer Milton Boggs visits Briarcliffe mansion, hoping to sell her late husband's prized possession–a 1939 Martin guitar–to rockstar Beau Arson. Recognizing its value, Beau has a different idea–to include the guitar in a vintage guitar auction gala he's hosting at Briarcliffe next month. This will be the first summer party at Briarcliffe in over three decades since Beau's father, James Sutcliffe, was tragically pushed to his death.

When a woman from Beau's past is found dead in the exact location of his father's murder thirty-two years ago,
Harley fears that the ghosts of the past have returned. The plot thickens as the vintage guitars bought at the auction are destroyed by arson, and several individuals connected to the gala are found brutally murdered. With each new development, the mystery deepens, and Harley struggles to make sense of the connections between the events while trying to stay safe from the killer lurking in the shadows.
