Lyn Andrews

A pseudonym used by Lynda M Andrews

Lyn Andrews is one of the UK's top one hundred paperback bestselling authors, whose vibrant, heart-rending novels have won her millions of fans. Her last paperback was a Sunday Times top ten bestseller for many weeks. Lyn Andrews was born and raised in Liverpool.
It wasn’t until her children went to school that Lyn began her writing career and was astounded and thrilled at having her first novel accepted and published, never having written anything other than letters to friends and relations before.
In the intervening years Lyn has written a historical novel and thirty-four successful sagas, set in her native city of Liverpool, as well as in Southern Ireland , where she lived for eleven years, and the Isle of Man, where Lyn now resides.

Nancy Revell
"I have just finished The Shipyard Girls and enjoyed it very much indeed . . . It has all the essentials of a good saga: well-drawn, believable, sympathetic characters, storylines which keep the reader turning the page and a very authentic background . . . The special bond that develops between the women makes it a very well rounded novel and will I’m sure have readers eagerly awaiting the next book in the series."
