Pampered, spoiled, and utterly vain, Princess Prunella cares about nothing but her pocket mirror and her peppermints. An old begger woman, to whom Prunella is predictably rude, gives Prunella a curse: unless the princess performs three unselfish deeds, she shall have a purple peanut on the end of her nose. By the time the peanut grows to the size of a pumpkin, Prunella is ready to change her ways. A plethora of P's are packed into this pleasing tale.
