The Nubbler

Rufus's mum and dad have had yet another row, nd Rufus is sure they are going to split up. But then the Nubbler turns up. He can't make Rufus's mum and dad love each other again - but he can help Rufus along. And by taking him on wonderful journeys into the future, and giving him a bit of a shove when Rufus dosen't know quite what to do, the Nubbler makes things better. Of course some people might say Rufus imagined the whole thing. But, if not - just who is the Nubbler?
