The Little Wind

(1972)
A novel by

Elizabeth Norton's life was full of responsibilities. She was a schoolteacher who involved herself in her pupil's problems; and she had more than her share of trouble from her flighty young brother and sister, who in spite of being a medical student and a nurse respectively, managed to spend most of their time in trouble. Ambrose Ellingford for one wished she would either drop some of her burdens or let him shoulder them for her. Yet how could he, when he was normally bound to the lovely Nadine Lacey? Would Liz just have to go on managing alone?
