Thierry's Angel

Angelique Dubois is the daughter of the mayor and the heiress of the most prominent Black Creole family in New Orleans. Engaged to man of mother's choosing who is cheating on her, she is bored with her life as a socialite, and yearns for real love, something she isn't getting from her fiance. To escape from a life that threatens to smother her, she starts to strip in disguise at best friend's club to reaffirm her own sensuality. She never expected to be swept off the stage into the arms of a lover she never dared dream was out there for her. He runs family's business enterprises with merciless efficiency and is known for being cold and ruthless. Thierry will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and he wants Angelique. But Thierry's family has secrets too; secrets the matriarch of the clan would do anything to hide.
