Courtney has passed the tests, and she will finally become a police officer.
Brenden has taken another girl. Kelsey Blake is her name, blonde hair, blue eyes, and she hasn’t been home in over twenty-four hours. The last place she was seen was waiting for her boyfriend at the park. Unknown to her parents, she had snuck out of the house. But when her boyfriend arrived at the park, she was nowhere to be found.
Courtney goes into the mineshaft with a loaded gun, and Officer Dubois is right there behind her as backup. When Courtney reaches the cells, she sees that Becky is hurt. Becky blinks and squints her eyes, seeing that its’ Courtney who has come back. Becky tries to warn her away, telling her it’s not safe.
Since Courtney has just become a member of the police force, she is thrown into a situation that she is not quite ready to handle. Courtney must depend on her steely nerves and courage to safely get all involved out of this one.
