‘Greg’ knows that Courtney is going to him. He has silently invited her to do so once he grabbed her mother, Tabitha. Courtney walks slowly through the farmhouse and sees that there’s a door open in the kitchen that leads down into darkness. Just as Becky had told her. Damp, dark, and cold.
