Ringing the doorbell, Courtney is ready to pull out the warrant stating she can look in any room of the mansion and tear up the pool if she needs to. However, when the butler opens the door, he says that Eric isn’t home and lets Courtney inside.
When Courtney gets into the attic, a small voice tells her to shut the light off. They’re going to get into a lot of trouble if caught up there. Courtney recognizes the voice, and she hurries to find where the voice is coming from with her flashlight still on. The person who was talking in such a small child’s voice was none other than Nicole! She’s wearing a dress, her hair is in pigtails, and she has a large lollipop in her hand, a rainbow-colored one. Nicole begins to cry, relieved that someone has come to save her. She explains to Courtney what happened to Lacey and Eric’s mother. She wants to hurry to get Nicole out of there. When they head toward the stairs, they fold up, and they are both locked in the attic.
