Anna doesn’t know how she’s going to tell her mother about what they had heard, but she knew that with Andrew with her there would be no reason why her mother wouldn’t believe them. He knows that in the morning he can go to town and grab a paper with a farmhand named Nicky. A lanky kid that made sure that the horses and the cows had enough hay. Someone who was quiet, but Andrew knew that he could ride with him without any troubles.
Andrew promises that he’s going to find out why Ernie’s brother is in the insane asylum up in Bangor Maine. He wants to know what het has done to get in there. What crime did he commit to be brought there instead of going to a jail? Ernie didn’t say what he had done, just that he had finally been caught and that wasn’t going to help with anything.
