"... this will become a much cherished book."

“This is a stunning and powerful story – one of those books that you’ll never forget. I was so wrapped up in it that when I’d finished reading, I felt lost.”

"Five stars without a doubt."

“This was a book I couldn’t put down. It works well on so many levels. The slow seeds of resistance in Operation Breeze grow stronger and stronger and we are presented with conflict and knife-edge moments a-plenty.”

“The courage of ordinary people is powerfully portrayed in this story. There are also some twists which I didn’t see coming […] Angela Barton is a very creative lady and I liked the way her painterly descriptions fitted one of the main themes of the story: art theft.”
