Jenny's Discovery

Jennifer's life was a mess, though not because she'd been reckless. Her parents died unexpectedly and she was running out of money and options. She'd spent much of her youth learning to play the piano and it was her passion. Since she'd spent so much time with lessons and playing at church, she didn't have skills that could help her find a job when she needed it.

Her friends in the Bible study group at church had come up with a plan. She wasn't sure it was the right thing for her to do, but she knew for certain her future was in jeopardy if she didn't think of something. So, she answered an ad that a man in Laramie, Wyoming placed. He was looking for a wife. She needed someone to take care of her, so this seemed like something she needed to do.

Max Alexander was tired of being alone. The women in Laramie weren't really the sort a God-fearing man would want for his wife. The few acceptable women there had mainly been looking for a benefactor. He was a wealthy man and everyone in town knew it. He believed that someone from somewhere else would come to care for him for his heart and not his wallet if he got to know her through letters first.

Max was ready for his life to change and he wanted Jennifer to help him shape those changes. He didn't expect that so much would change in a short period of time. The couple faces fierce adversity that could tear them apart or make them stronger. They can choose to follow God or make their own path. What will they decide?
