So much for changing my life.
Up and moving to the small town of Sugar Pine was supposed to be the start of a brighter beginning…
But it’s not.
And I’m not sure if it’s owed to my cabin getting broken into before I officially moved in, or if it has anything to do with getting screwed around with by a group of drunken idiots thinking I’m a girl they can mess with.

Though when the town’s Sheriff steps in, helping me get back on my feet after my not-so-warm welcome to his town, I find everything starts to change.
And for the better.
As this Christmas, I find I’m in for a stocking full of surprises. No cozy fire as expected with a hot cocoa in one hand while my Kindle rests in the other.
