Christmas For Rosalie

Rosalie Chalmers thinks she has nothing to lose when she agrees to be a mail order bride to homesteader Isaac Baker. After losing her job as a maid and grieving over her dear aunt's passing, she leaves Maine to go to Seraphim, Wyoming in hopes of beginning again. She learns quickly, though, that the harsh frontier may not be the place for her after all.Isaac can't believe his good fortune to be matched with the lovely Rosalie. As the only black man in Seraphim, he nearly gave up hope of finding a wife. Yet, despite his efforts to make her feel at home, Rosalie remains withdrawn and unhappy.
