Ariana Owens is having the suckiest eighteenth birthday in history. Separated from her friends and lost in Sonoma Valley National Park with a dead phone for company, Ariana stumbles over an oak tree. Her luck takes another terrible turn when the tree talks to her then tosses her into Faerie.

Befriended by a bite-happy talking spider, Ariana will have to evade the Wild Hunt and certain death as evil-Fae dog chow in order to find her way back home to Sonoma.

But the spider keeps telling Ari she’s already home...

Lady of the Oak is a modern, fantasy fairy tale (and origin story) in the Forbidden Royals of Faerie series, intended for an audience age 17+.
