Now that Melody Bristol’s solved her first crime, the single mom and diner owner discovers she’s got a taste for tackling killers. Good thing, too, because even the lush Colorado forests can’t conceal another body.

Cowboy cop Gabe Mitchell is all over it, but as luck would have it, he needs Melody’s help. He’s crabby about it but she’s delighted to pitch in. Together, they dig up an unhappy housemate, an unforgiving uncle, and a girlfriend with a serious grudge. But then the investigation throws them smack up against the smarmiest and sexiest dude in town.
