Long Range Deserter

Dashing Jack Walmer joins the French Foreign Legion, but when war breaks out he deserts to fight with a British Unit. He becomes involved in a series of daring and dangerous assignments alongside the newly-formed SAS. Time and again Jack must prove his allegiance by risking his life to save British servicemen. His final task is an attack on an Italian fortress, where the identity of a British prisoner holds the key to his future happiness.
