Stolen Star

The arrival of a wealthy family of French settlers in Sunset County, Arizona, put a strain upon the forces of law and order, and also affected Mike Liddell, troubleshooter to Madeleine la Baronne de Beauclerc. At a fancy dress reception, property was mislaid. To get close to the suspects, Mike allowed himself to be locked up with them - and so his troubles started.
