Part 1
Maccio Magaddino is the youngest of three brothers who are now the backbone of the Boston Mafia’s New Haven faction. For the longest time, Maccio has been trying to prove himself to his older brothers, to prove that he could be as much of a bad ass as the rest of them.

Finally, Luco gives him an assignment that could change everything in the turf war between them and the DeFeo family. All he has to do is kidnap a couple of girls and keep them alive. Simple enough. However, nothing is ever as simple as it seems it ought to be. Sage Yarde held her father’s hand as Carlos Dagata shot him fifteen years ago. Ever since, she’s thought of nothing but revenge. When she gets a job with the Hartford Courant and hears about the turf war going on down in New Haven, she pitches a story to her editor.

In days, she finds herself in the back of a limo with Bianca Cardona, the daughter of DeFeo underboss, Azzo Cardona. Four men ambush the car in the alley behind a nightclub, taking out the men and capturing all five girls. As frightened as she is, Sage stands her ground with the hazel eyed man who seems to be in charge. She knows these people, knows how they think. She can outsmart them at every turn. But when this hazel eyed hottie, Maccio, refuses to behave the way she expected him to, she’s thrown for a loop, finding herself falling for the same kind of man who took everything away from her.

Part 2
Dante Magaddino is the brother who never wanted to be part of the criminal organization his father and brothers have embraced. He was going to escape, be a doctor in some distant city, live happily ever after with his wife and son. But things didn’t go the way he planned.

Instead, his wife died, and he spent a couple of years in prison, a jail term he brought on himself, but that didn’t come without influence from the reputation that went along with his family name. Now he’s just trying to keep his nose down, working for the family because there was nothing else he could do while still serving out his parole, but still dreaming of escaping. The last thing he planned on was falling for the nervy teacher who came to stick her nose into his personal business.

Callen O’Rourke is a first grade teacher at the private school where Dante Magaddino’s six year old son, Leo, is enrolled. Leo made an impression on the young teacher and she was concerned when he stopped coming to class, taking it upon herself to go to his home to find out what the problem was. When she met Dante, she wasn’t impressed with his confrontational attitude.

Part 3
Luco Magaddino thought he’d found love six months ago. She was beautiful and different from anyone he’d ever loved before. He could see a future for the first time, felt the urge to commit to something bigger than a casual love affair.

How could he have known that she wasn’t what she appeared to be? How could he have known that she had a fiancé and a wedding she refused to let him help her out of? How could he have known she could be callous and uncaring, that she was ambitious and greedy, and that she’d never believe that he could offer her all the things she thought she wanted?

Frankie Falzone is a rarity in organized crime. She’s a capo, running her own crew. She’s tough, professional, as good at her job as any of the other captains in the organization. Her only soft spot is her childhood friend and first crush, Luco Magaddino. When she gets wind of Luco’s plan to take down the big boss, Carlos Dagata, she wants in.
