Nocturne

In spite of his nature, Richard, son of Stephen Austra and Helen Wells, plans to live as normal a life as possible in the human world. While attending college in Chicago, he meets the brilliant mezzo soprano and Romanian refugee, Irena Sava. Their love affair-- fueled by music, blood and passion -- seems fated. But soon the young lovers are drawn into a battle with an enemy in the dangerous land Irena thought she had left behind.
