It’s time for the annual Hallow’s Bend Fall Parade! Ariel Black and her family have put the finishing touches on their parade float and are ready to celebrate. What should be a fun, carefree event takes an unfortunate turn when it’s discovered that a dead body was hidden in one of the floats.

In the midst of a new murder mystery, Ariel is also being pushed by her father to find a more secluded place to live. He wants to help her control her magic and The Whipping Willow bakery is no place for a powerful witch to practice.

Things only get worse when Ariel’s practice sessions lead to a few uncommon side effects that no one can seem to explain. When Ariel’s boyfriend, Sheriff Henry Palmer, suggests her father is pushing her too hard, the two men find themselves arguing with each other more than Ariel is comfortable with.

To distract herself from the chaos of her personal life, Ariel takes it upon herself to investigate the town’s most recent murder. But she’ll need the help of her friends, Asher, Raven, and her sarcastic familiar, Dori, if she has any hope of making it out unscathed.

Witching a Ride is the fourth book in the Witches of the Pacific Northwest series.
