Piloting Ambassador Anna Abel’s transport shuttle from earth to my home, the living Destran space station, has been my assignment for five earth years. My orders are clear—operate the transport and leave her alone. When the shuttle is damaged, I’m forced to crash land on an uncharted moon. Now, we’re stranded on a storm-ridden planet with no chance of rescue. I may not be able to hide my desire in such close proximity, but I will find a way to keep her alive.

Lashe, my attractive transport pilot, is competent, polite, and has barely spoken to me in the five years he’s been ferrying me to and from the Destran station. When he admits to having secret feelings for me, our attraction blooms. But none of it matters if we can’t repair our ship and get out of here before a storm tears the ship (and us) to space dust.
