Werewolves have been around a long time. Longer than my beloved, flesh eating zombies that George Romero created with Night of the Living Dead. Werewolves however seemed to have lost the popularity in the horror genre that vampires and zombies still have today. So how does a zombie guy end up editing a werewolf book? I really am not sure but it was certainly an honor to do so. The stories in this book are far from your old school werewolf tales. To me, the coolest take on werewolves in recent years was the film Dog Soldiers. It was my inspiration for this anthology. Werewolves are by nature violent monsters so why not upgrade them for the modern world and turn them into real monsters of war? That is what I have attempted to do with this book. The tales range from werewolves fighting in World War II to wolves in outer space and even gang wars in the streets against rival gangs of shape shifters. These tales may not be Shakespeare but they are FUN. They are filled with blood, guns, and outright terror. So let the war begin . . .and the blood and bullets fly
