The Evil of Time

Lovely Keith Elgin had come to The Castle in search of buried treasure. And she was sure that she alone would unearth the stolen art hoard--the Rembrandt painting, the Cellini Cup, and all the rest which Colonel John Ridge and all his men had tried and failed to find. She would show the Colonel, with his haughty superiority and his handsome arrogance! But as she wandered through the drafty, moldering castle halls, feeling always that hidden eyes were upon her, Keith began to wonder if she'd been a little too smug. Perhaps she should have heeded the Colonel's warning of danger, for when The Castle's stalkers closed in on her, Keith longed to shout to Colonel Ridge for aid.
