Dixon, Descending (2024)
Karen Outen
"A beautiful and haunting story about brotherly love, remorse, hubris, nature's unique cruelty, and survival. Karen Outen understands first-class human drama. She grabs hold of your neck and doesn't let go. Here is tragedy in the purest sense."

What Happened to Ruthy Ramirez (2023)
Claire Jiménez
"What Happened to Ruthy Ramirez, from the first pages, grips you like an excellent thriller and unfolds with surprising beauty. Claire Jimenez gives us religion, intergenerational trauma, reality TV, high school drama, and sisterly love. Every narrative turn and revelation provides a jolt. We're dealing with a writer deeply in touch with what us readers need. What a pleasure."

Mount Chicago (2022)
Adam Levin
"I come away from Adam Levin's books with a greater appreciation for literature, the infinite power of storytelling. Yes: he is Chicago's best novelist. With Mount Chicago, however, Levin has entered a higher realm. This book contains the tingling mystery of genius. I put it down and saw the world differently for three days. I was lighter on my feet, funnier, filled with love. This book will change you for the better. We will read Adam Levin for centuries. We will always start with Mount Chicago."
