When socialite Roberta Wilkinson is found dead, Miss Josephine York’s suspicions are immediately raised. Odd things have been happening at Goose Hall; things have been going missing, the wayward daughter has been thrown out of finishing school under mysterious circumstances, and the rakish Sir Oswald has turned up after being run out of London.
