When Detective Josh Andrews is assigned the case of a murdered celebrity, he is mesmerized by the portrait of the victim, Laurie Beckham, once voted ‘The Most Beautiful Man in America. The body found in Beckham’s apartment cannot be immediately identified, as a shotgun blast to his face has made even dental records difficult to help in the coroner’s report.
Two days later, Laurie Beckham shows up alive and well, unaware of the news of his death.

Josh is attracted to the young man – but who wouldn’t be on meeting the most beautiful man in America? Josh sees that beneath the glamor there is a decent, if lonely guy, and one grieving the loss of his best friend, the unintended murder victim. Josh is determined to find the killer and save Laurie from yet another attempt to harm him.

He figures that the best way to protect him is to keep him by his side, and prevent anyone else getting near. But Josh is unaware they are both in the killer’s sights, until it may be too late. Can he reach Laurie in time to save him from an obsessed lunatic who will do anything to ensure that this time, Laurie is the real victim?
