All Summer Quinn wants is to be divorced. The only problem? Her ex-husband. He refuses to move on, putting up roadblocks to finalizing their divorce instead of accepting that it’s over. Desperate to get out of Las Vegas and away from the memories there, Summer escapes to her college friend’s family home for some rest and relaxation. He lives in a small town, which means there shouldn’t be that many unmarried men, right? Except Colt Raines is tall and a total ten in tight jeans, and Summer is completely distracted by him.

Colt Raines hid his heart behind a wall after his ex-wife broke it, and he has no plans on letting anyone tear it down. Preferring the company of his family and their horses, he keeps his focus on the family ranch. That is, until, his cousin invites his friend from college up for an extended vacation. When Summer arrives at the Triple R, he tries to keep his distance from the brunette city girl with eyes the same color as his mother’s favorite chocolate.

Between bonfires and bar fights, they grow closer; mending their broken hearts one two-step at a time.

When Summer’s ex finally agrees to the divorce, they go to Vegas together, reeling from some shocking revelations. In the aftermath, they return to Montana with things different between them. But small towns hold secrets of their own, and when all is revealed, Colt and Summer discover that not all that glitters is gold.
