Trail to Texas

An outbreak of anthrax followed by the bank's refusal of a further loan leaves Jim and Gil Ryan in a precarious state. Their disagreement over the raising of sufficient money to keep their ranch leads to Jim leaving the Hash Knife and finding employment on a Texas ranch. Trying to contact his brother four years later, Jim finds Gil has become a bounty hunter. Feeling that his part in the disagreement had set Gil off on this undesirable road, and afraid that Gil will become a killer, Jim searches for him and finds a gun-blazing trail to Texas.
