Jake Delancey is a bad boy. Often in trouble with the law, he's been on the outs with his wealthy family since his wild teenage years. But now they need him back to help run the famous Delancey horse farm and stables that has been in the family for generations. Elle Gavin is a waitress at the Country Club in Brentwood, the exclusive neighborhood outside of Nashville. She's here to sing though, not sling hash. Still, when the handsome rich boy with the beautiful blue eyes nearly gets her fired, she takes an instant dislike to him. But it's Jake who can't stop thinking about the gorgeous Irish girl from the club. When he pursues her, she has a hard time ignoring him, despite her disdain for the upper class. Jake usually doesn't like to stick around or form attachments, but this time he's not so sure he wants to run. If Elle lets him in, will he be the one to break her heart or vise versa?
