The Way Ahead

This work collects more than 20 interviews with prominent Australians. The contributors discuss their beliefs and perceptions about where Australia is heading, and their hopes and fears for the nation. The profiles have been selected to include a range of people and backgrounds from the arts, sciences, business, academia, entertainment, the media, government, politics and others. The selection reflects the nature of Australia's multicultural society, and represents men and women of all ages. This work capitalizes on the increasing momentum of interest in the future being generated as the 21st century approaches. It offers serious views from a balance of "thinkers" in Australian society, as well as prominent personalities. Those represented include: Philip Adams (broadcaster), Eva Cox (femininst), Natasha Scott-Despoja (Democrat Senator), and John Button (former Labour Senator and Minister).
