Marilyn was still fifty-two years old and counting, and it was true that she’d wished for something more from life than being a witch, a daughter, a mother to two grown children, and the last person to know that her husband had been having an affair, and she’d got it.

Life certainly wasn’t as dull as dishwater anymore. Her best friend, Claudia, was wreaking havoc with her life and her wardrobe. Her daughter was now mated to a wolf shifter, and her son was laying low from a vampire who had a deadly grudge to settle. And, of course, Neal had come back into town and was making a nuisance of himself, and causing her mother to be even more annoying than usual.

Was it too much to get a little peace and quiet in her own house? Not likely. A ghost from the past was back, there was a new shifter in town, Lottie was smitten, and Claudia was about to get her comeuppance.

Marilyn just wanted a little time, a little space, and a little men-on-pause in her life. Fat chance, now she had two men to deal with, and both were in mortal danger. Oh, and there was still eighties night to keep her on her toes.

What more could go wrong? Plenty.
