Colt was Rayner’s next target. The man was big, mean, and he could pay off the clan’s debt to Bute. The fact that he’d nearly killed Bowie and had sent the man crazy-bear was a problem, add to that her mate and alpha didn’t want her going after him, and yet she still had a mind to do it.
Bowie had problems of his own. He was looking for a way out and if he had to die doing it then that was just a bonus.
